Tebowmania rolls on

The fascination with Tim Tebow continues this week after his Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Wild Card game last Sunday.

The Wall Street Journal chronicles how Tebow beat the Steelers (I think his teammates would argue the Broncos, not Tebow, beat the Steelers), then reported Tebow may just be the real deal.

Earlier today, #Twitter posted:

Last night @ lead the @ to an overtime playoff win and a new sports Tweets per second record: 9420

Tebow threw for 316 yards Sunday in the win, prompting comparison’s to John 3:16 and CNN’s explanation of what that Bible verse means to Christians.

The Neiman Journalism Lab at Harvard reports Tebow’s autobiography, Through My Eyes, was the No. 1 selling sports book of 2011.

Luke Ravenstahl, the mayor of Pittsburgh, paid off his bet with Denver’s mayor when he dropped to one knee and began “Tebowing” while wearing a No. 15 jersey.
