Jesus in Georgia?

Passion 2013

Tam Odom has left the state. Yes, you heard me: she is gone. I’ve been told (and we can not confirm this from anyone at Charleston Southern University) is the last thing she said was, “I’m going to follow Jesus.” We’re cool with that, but where is she and did she find Him?

Good news: Tam decided to take her iPhone on the journey. So we started tracking her on Twitter — and, from what I’m seeing — she may be with Him. They’re in Georgia!

I know. I almost dropped my iPhone when I read her tweet. Then, she sent posted this one:

I was numb.

Then it hit me — wait, isn’t Passion 2013 this week at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta? Yes. Tam is in Georgia. She is following Jesus, but she’s not actually with Him. What a knucklehead I am. herea couple more tweets:

I just got a text from Tam. She told me there were reports that 60,000+ were in attendance at Passion 2013 over the four days of events. Chris Tomlin performed (jealous), so did Kristian Stanfill (jealous), Christy Nockels and David Crowder. Pastor Francis Chan (jealous) and John Piper (jealous) fired up the crowd with passionate messages.
