Spiritual Connections with CPSE Page
Hello, everyone!
I want you to know that while we want to help you get the career you want, we are also here to build each other and you in the Lord. CPSE has added 2 Facebook Pages to connect with ours:
1) God’s Heart Project: Perry made this page to send words of encouragement to others. Sometimes we just need that little message to get us through whatever we’re going through.
2) I Pray, You Pray, We Pray: I originally made this as a group, but turned it into a page so it can be connected to the CPSE page. It keeps friends, family, and even strangers together through prayer. Put down praise reports and prayer requests, even if they’re unspoken.
Check these pages out. I hope they help you spiritually as well as every other way.
Thank you and God bless!

I also want to thank everyone who showed up to our “Exploring Majors” seminar, especially since we haven’t advertised as much as we wanted to.
I’m also still working on the Résumé Workshop video and Exploring Majors video. I just have to get some technical stuff done. Please be patient. It’s coming along.
Thank you all for being involved in our work-study program. Take care and have a great week!

Facebook is back up!
Hooray! We have Facebook back up again! If you click on the highlighted word “Facebook” it takes you right to our home page.
Our Facebook page has a page of its own. It’s simply called “Career Planning and Student Employment.” Check there often, because that’s where all notifications will take place.
Have a great weekend!

Facebook Problems
Hey bloggers and readers,
Contrary to popular belief (and some advertising on the walls) our Facebook page is for some reason no longer up. I’ve contacted the administrator, so stay put until further notice. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will find other outlets and get back to you later.
Our résumé workshop is today! Come by the fishbowl around 11:30 to watch a presentation about how to build your own professional résumé! It’ll definitely come in handy at the fair which is less than a week away!

Hello again!
Hi, there! My page is finally back up with the correct name! Yay!
Some news:
1) WE HAVE A FACEBOOK NOW! If you have a facebook and you want to ask a question, just send us a message or write on our wall! Please do not send invites, since this is a professional facebook page. thank you very much. This is solely for the purpose of reaching other students effectively. We will send virtual “gifts” on your birthday, though!
2) We have a résumé workshop coming up on the 16th. We will once again be videotaping this (hopefully with better results than the last time) so you can check it out online on our site or facebook page. You can even confirm whether or not you’re going! It’ll be fun, so please come!
3) Farther up the road there will be the Fall Career and Graduate School Fair. It’ll be a big event on the 22nd from noon to 3 p.m. in the Brewer Center. Come and check it out!
- Jessie B
P.S. If you want to see a sneak preview of what our workshop will be like, I’m going to try to post a test video a co-worker and I did that tells how to write a résumé.
