Welcome to CPSE (Career Planning and Student Employment)!
My name is Vanessa Melvin. I am a volunteer who have volunteered at schools, churches, libraries, and I am also a volunteer student blogger. Some things that I did when I volunteered at the schools was help students with problems they have had with classwork/homework, gave practice quizzes, and gave praise and encouragement to the students. I have volunteered at both elementary schools and adult programs, with people who are trying to get their GED. Some things that I did at the churches were helping out with cleaning, and helping cooking for special events the church have has. Some things that I did while I volunteered at the libraries was re-shelve the books, keep things and books in order and help out at the reference desk.
I have enjoyed volunteering at these places. The job is rewarding and there is a feeling of accomplishment afterwards. I think that everyone should volunteer at some point of their life. It is always good to help others. And helping others will be helping you.
